It is hard to believe that a month of classes has already passed! The year started in a blur, with new classes, new faces, new gallery shows, and the noise of students reuniting and creating. The art department is so excited about this year! We will be hosting 28 gallery exhibitions, graduating 27 seniors in various disciplines, and challenging our students with new course offerings and artistic opportunities!
We kicked off the new academic year with a gallery show by Ginger Geyer and Wang Ling Chou. Both artists take different approaches to ceramics, and our students really enjoyed the opportunity to spend time with both shows.
The year is off to a great start and we can not wait to see what is in store! Continue to check back as we update you on new gallery shows, highlight new course offerings, introduce you to students and their experiences on study abroad trips, and try to keep a pulse of all the activity that is going on in the building.
