Bee In Hand

20 11 2013

We are so excited to have a new show up in Adams Hall!  Bee in Hand is a collection of liturgical works by our graphic design professor Jeremy Botts.  All of the work was at one time installed at Jeremy’s church, and has been recreated in the gallery space for us to enjoy.

The central piece is an olive log which hangs from five miles of cotton thread that has been meticulously strung through both of the gallery spaces. The layering of string create fascinating shadows and depth.

We hope that you have a chance to experience, sit beneath, and interact with this installation.  The reception for Bee in Hand is Thursday, November 21st from 4:30 – 6:30 in the gallery.
