Yes, we do in fact have an American Art Collection! Our collection is largely a result of the work and vision of former Art Dept. faculty member and Chairperson, Mr. Alva Steffler. It has however been awhile since the Art Department has purchased pieces for this collection, and we decided it was about time. A local estate sale turned up an impressive collection of Modern Art and we just couldn’t pass up the opportunity to grab a few!
We’ll also try and get some photos up of a few fantastic Richard Driesbach prints we bought last year, which are currently awaiting framing. Down the line, we’d love to start featuring a piece from our collection each month, if not each week here on our blog – so be looking for those posts!
