The Art Department created a community art project for International Day of Climate Action, sponsored globally by 350.org. Here’s an overview:

EXHAUSTED AND OUT OF BREATH

We make an image today about what in our world is to the left and to the right of us, what is left of the life-giving gifts given to us, what is left of our role to notice and manage and appreciate these.

The red paints represent resources, They run down the canvas, they run our machines, they run out. Our commitment to do right by ourselves and our world drives our efforts. But we are tired. Our resolve runs its course, and
runs thin. Who wants to take the path with sacrifice waiting at the end of it?
